Traditional through floor lifts were designed as disabled access lifts for the home and there design was not always pleasing to the eye. With the New Home Elevator this is not the case and we have tried to incorporate stylish designs to help the lift look at home in more modern stylish properties.
The benefits of a through the floor lift are that the lift requires no shaft. The lift can be parked at the upper floor and the under tray of the lift seals itself flush to the ceiling level which also gives a fire seal to the ceiling. Also when the lift is down there is a trap door that creates a floor area above the lift so that you get the floor area back when the lift is parked downstairs. As this is an open lift all possible trapping points are protected with touch sensitive edges to give comfort to the users that any young children or pets will always be protected when the lift is in use.
The lift comes in 3 standard sizes and there is a choice of colours and finishes along with optional extras so the lift can be tailor-made to blend in with your property.
